WHAT HAPPENED?
Rashford fired the visitors into the lead just five minutes into the Premier League clash at Molineux after Rasmus Hojlund played the ball to him, allowing him to lash it beyond goalkeeper Jose Sa. The 26-year-old then played a role in helping United to a 2-0 lead as he played the ball through for Luke Shaw to square it to Hojlund, who knocked it in from close range.

Rashford was somewhat of a surprise inclusion in the starting XI given the controversy that has surrounded him over the last week. He was absent from training because of illness but it was later revealed that he had been spotted in a Belfast nightclub. Manager Erik ten Hag said Rashford would be dealt with inside the club as he urged his team to show "discipline" in the wake of the England international's controversy. Nevertheless, he picked him for the midweek Premier League clash and will feel vindicated following the goal.

Rashford's goal is his fifth in the Premier League this season, having made 20 appearances in the top-flight. He will hope to improve on his record in an effort to repay the club after making headlines for all the wrong reasons ahead of last week's FA Cup clash against Newport.
